Nursing Competency with Vascular Access Care among Hemodialysis Patients in Arab World: A Narrative Review

Abstract

Objective: To review studies published of Arab World concerning vascular access care by nursing stuff among hemodialysis patients.
Methods: Electronic databases SCIENCE DIRECT, PUBMED, CINHAL, EBSCO, SCOPUS, and UPTODATE have been searched to identify relevant studies. Initially 20 studies were identified potentially relevant and out of which 6 studies which met the selection criteria were included in the review.
Results: Nursing stuff need more training, and the available training programs are not of the needed quality.
