Fulltext PDFVentricular septal ruptures, in the era of contemporary PCI and early revascularization of acute myocardial infarctions, are rare in incidence. We present an 86 year old female who presented with late anterior STEMI and ventricular septal rupture despite an angiographically patent LAD.
