Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a heterogeneous neurodevelopmental condition that cause common problems in communication and social interactions among children. Beyond the role of vitamin D in bone metabolism, also has a critical role in brain development. Deficiency of vitamin D is related to augmented risk of neurodevelopmental complaints such as (ASD). Vitamin D could maintain the phenotypic stability of both the Ca2_ and redox signaling pathways that play such a key role throughout development.
