Clinical Protocols in Surgical Anesthesia

Clinical Protocols in Surgical Anesthesia
About Medications for amnesia, analgesia, muscle paralysis, and sedation results in a state called General anaesthesia. Body mass index, medical and surgical history, current medications, and fasting time are observed under controlled conditions to assess the patient condition accurately. Regional or Local Anaesthesia is mostly preferred than general anaesthesia. As there are many advantages and disadvantages for this practice, focused research was done to develop a balanced and more optimized practice. This resulted in developing various clinical protocols in surgical anesthesia.
