is a peer reviewed, scientific journal which aims to provide reliable and rapid source of information on current development and discoveries in the field of women’s health. The journal aims to be an internationally leading journal which keeps the physicians, internists and students up-to-date by publishing clinically relevant and evidence-based research.
The journal is the primary source of information for meeting the challenges of providing optimal health care for women throughout their lifespan. The Journal aims to deliver cutting-edge advancements in therapeutic protocols for the management of diseases, diagnostic procedures and innovative research in gender-based biology that impacts women care and treatment.
Health of women is referred to as Women's health which differs from that of men health in many different ways. Women's health is one of the most important examples of population health where WHO defines health as "a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity". Although women in many developed countries have narrowed the gender gap in life expectancy and now live longer than men but they experience earlier and more severe disease with poorer outcomes. Women’s health is influenced by their biology and also by conditions such as poverty, employment, and family responsibilities. Socioeconomic has a greater impact on women’s health.
