AIMS AND SCOPE

Annals of Thoracic Oncology

an open access and peer reviewed international journals which states about the Lung cancer. The journal mainly focus publishing high quality articles on treatment, detection, prevention, diagnosis of all the disorders related to thoracic oncology. This is an open access journal and anyone on the internet can have free online access for all the content published in the journal without any barriers. The journal aims to become itself an international platform for all the health care professionals working on thoracic oncology to get latest updates in the research.
The journal covers all the aspects related to the thoracic oncology including Lung cancer, which is the most common cancer and cause of more than 1.5 million deaths per year. Thoracic Cancer is cancer of lungs or in the chest region that includes lung, esophageal, thymus and mesothelioma. Thoracic Cancer is the most painful surgical stimuli currently practiced and it is often connected with postoperative pulmonary and cardiac complications. Latest technologies used in Thoracic Cancer therapy includes Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scans and high- resolution Computed-Tomography (CT) scans.
