Cytology is a branch of Science that deals with the structure, physiology and the chemistry of the ‘Cell’, the fundamental unit of life. Cytology is concerned with the physiological properties, signaling pathways, metabolic processes and life cycle, the chemical composition and interaction of cell with the external environment. Histology, commonly called microanatomy is the study of anatomy of cells and tissues of living organism under microscope. Annals of Cytology and Histology comprehensively focuses on the plethora of topics like Organization, Physiology, Genetics and pathology of cells and tissues with special emphasis on Stem Cell Cytology.
