Abstract

We experienced 3 cases of symptomatic discoid medial meniscus and managed the rare deformity using a four-portal arthroscopic partial meniscectomy, which is similar to the technique used in knees with a discoid lateral meniscus. We think that active surgical treatment for a torn discoid medial meniscus can provide satisfactory results without recurrence of symptoms.
